Enrolment @ Bay Academy
An enrolment zone is in place for our school, BOIIA Enrolment Zone Map. Currently though we remain OPEN TO ALL ENROLMENT enquiries as we have approximately 30 places available for students across years 1 to 8. Enrolment enquiries processed online (see below) will almost definitely gain a confirmed place. Please enquire further by phoning us at 09 407 9749, 021 02561795 or emailing admin@boi.ac.nz.
Stationery
Stationery packs are provided by the school at low cost. Please contact the school if you have any questions, or would like to discuss this.
Transportation
Transportation assistance is available.
For students traveling from Kerikeri and Waipapa, a free school bus is available. The bus transport timetable can be found here, or contact the school.
For students traveling from Purerua Peninsula, a Ministry of Education funded school transportation allowance payment may be available, depending on the distance traveled.
The main rules are:
Students may be eligible for school transport if:
they are under 10 years old and live more than 3.2km from the nearest school; or
they are 10 years old and over and live more than 4.8 km from the nearest school; and
they do not have access to public passenger service transport.
An application form for transport assistance is available from the school office and should be returned to the school after the caregiver portion is completed. A separate application is required for each student.
